The brick vernacular structure was built in the 1890's by Phillip Kopp as a duplex.  The brick structure features a gable wall dormer on the north and an Eastlake porch with a flat roof.  There are later additions on the south as well as a projecting bay with original pent porches on the southeast and southwest.  The residence faces north onto Morgan Street.  There is a two-car garage along the south alley which is sheathed in corrugated metal.
