811 E. Morgan
The present brick structure was built in 1884. In 1928 new additions included the vestibule and the rear chapel. This is the home of the Morgan Street Baptist Church. A square two-story tower is on the southwest corner of the structure. There is a circular window on the south, as well as corbelled pilasters at each corner. Additions to the north include restrooms, some windows along the east basement level have been bricked in. This church is historically important on a local level for its role in the black segment of this community.
