MO-River Net LogoGeneral Information About MO-River

MO-River.Net is a community information network dedicated to providing information about Missouri's Boonslick Area.  This includes Cooper, Howard and Saline counties and their county seats : Boonville, Fayette and Marshall.  The Boonslick Region was named by Daniel Boon(e) as he explored the area and discovered the natural salt licks from which it takes its name.  Come and take a modern day expedition with us.

Founded in 1997, MO-River.Net is a non-profit organization that depends on volunteers to keep our web pages updated with relevant information.  Through corporate sponsorships we also engage local high school students to help update the site through paid internships.  We also sponsor a number of community events to help show residents of the Boonslick area how to make use of information on the Internet as well as how-to classes on designing their own web page.  With over 7,000 visitors a month we are the premier information source for the Boonslick region in Missouri (Cooper, Howard and Saline counties).

MO-River.Net has a volunteer board that meets quarterly at the University of Missouri Extension Center in Boonville.  We are always looking for new faces to join us and help us keeping MO-River.Net's 3,000+ pages up-to-date!  Find out more about MO-River.Net by reading Sarah Gallagher's article that appeared in the Boonville Daily News.
