Volunteering at the Friends:
Contact: Mary Ellen McVickers, Director
Someone to sit in the office, answer the phone, take visitors on tours of the jail, "hanging barn", etc. This would give the Director uninterrupted time to take care of writing grants and running errands.
Special Events:
"Big Muddy" Festival - April 5 and 6 - volunteers to help with the barbecue
"Big Muddy" Festival - April 5 and 6 - ushers for the festival.
Missouri River Festival of the Arts - August 3, 23, 24, 25 - ushers for the concerts
Missouri River Festival of the Arts - August 3, 23, 24, 25 - volunteers to act as docents for the Community Art Show.
Special duties:
Volunteers who are interested in working on Boonville and Cooper County History.
A man who would be willing to take old Boonville newspapers out to the correctional center for inmates to catalog and index.
