619 6th
This late Queen Anne residence was built in 1905 by
Louis Roeder. Louis worked in the
family business, a wagon making business at the southwest corner of 6th
and Spring St. He entered into
partnership with George Weyland under the name Roeder and Weyland.
On the east is a two-story rectangular bay with a gable wall dormer as
its north bay. The south section
has a second story entrance, however the current first story porch does not
create a second level. On the west
façade are 2 clapboarded additions. There
is a second story entrance with a balcony over the first story entrance and pent
porch. Along the west alley is a
board and batten pent roofed shed to the north and a two-car brick pent roofed
garage to the south.
