611
& 613 7th St.
This duplex was built in about 1925 by M. J. Felten. It has always been a rental property. The north and south sides repeat the same motifs.
The east façade has a one-story hip roofed porch with square brick
columns and an open brickwork balustrade. The
porch wraps around the north and south corners reaching to the entrances set in
projecting rectangular bays. On the
east at the basement level are 2 entrances, centrally located, at street level,
and with a pent roof cap. The
residence sits on a high bank with concrete steps leading up to each side of the
porch. There are no outbuildings.
