This two-story brick duplex replaced a duplex which set on this site as early as 1885.  J. J. Walther constructed the present duplex as rental property in 1910.  A one-story porch extends across the north facade and covers the 2 central entrances.  The south facade has a one-story pent porch with lattice ends and a divider.  There are no outbuildings.
