This one-story residence was
probably built in the 1880's. It is
of the Italianate design with an extended ell to the west.
There is a one-story porch with square wood paired columns. An enclosed sleeping porch and studio were added to the east.
The original central hall has been closed off to form a foyer.
There are no fireplaces, however there is an original mock mantel in the
east front room. David Koontz, a
grocery mercantile business man in the late 1800's, purchased this property.

This
site is listed on the National Register Historic Places.
