This two-story brick home was built by H. Kingsbury in 1869.
A dining room, kitchen and bath were added in 1883. This
may have been the first interior bath in
the community. The north facade has an ornate Victorian frame porch with chambered
posts. Much of the interior
has original fixtures and features. A large two-story board and batten
building with a gable roof sits along
the alley to the south and has access from there.
This barn
may have been used as a livery stable, as one of the owners was noted for
fine matched horses.
