312 E. High St.

Harry E. Moore, Sr. purchased this lot with the office of the Thro        Lumber Yard on it.  He turned this building 90 degrees and built  the present residence around it.  It is a one-and-one-half story   frame home of the vernacular design.  It has pent roof dormers on both the north and south facades.  There is a one-story raised concrete porch supported by four Doric columns.  To the rear is a pent roof addition and a pent roof enclosed porch.  There is a large concrete block garage and shed across the full length of the lot.  Access to the garage is from the alley to the east.
