227 E. High St.
J. J. Walther built this Queen Anne
residence about the turn of the century. (He
was also a builder of steamboats.) It
is a 2-1/2 story brick home with interesting windows, an inset balcony where an
ell joins the main structure, and an Eastlake porch on the northeast corner.
A concrete and gravel drive leads from High Street to the single car
garage.
