The original log
section of this home (1829-1840) has a later brick addition updating the house
to the late 19th century. The stone
chinking is exposed in the kitchen. The
dry-laid stone wall at the west is notable for this area. This property was the site o
fthe Boonville Bottling Works, and much glass debris can be found in the
rear garden. Nimrod Rector is
thought to be the builder of the residence which was purchased by W. J. Cochran
in 1918.
