208 E. High

This residence is located near Rupe's Branch and its confluence with the Missouri River, the site of an early settlement of Boonville.  It dates from 1829 - 1843 and is of the Classic Revival design.  It may have been built by Isaiah Hanna.  The floors and some windows are original.  A front porch built in the 1970's replaces an earlier one which deteriorated.  This one-story home has a fruit cellar in the rear.  No outbuildings have survived.
