Another house of vernacular design, this residence was built in 1885-1892.  It was purchased in 1895 by Anton Back and remained in this family for many years.  It has an enclosed porch on the northeast.  There are gabled ends and a pent roofed room to the west and an open porch to the east.  The two-and-one-half    story outbuilding was a batten horse and hay barn now used as a 3-car garage.
