417 Fourth Street

The brick residence of Box style has the typical hip roof and wide eaves.  It dates to about 1915.  It was built for Mr. William R. Miller who was the proprietor of the old Roeschel Drug Store, later Miller Drug Store.  There is a one-story flat-roof porch on the east with a wide frame entablature and a molded concrete block foundation and columns.  The entrance is the north bay of the primary facade and is accented by transom and sidelights.  The single car garage has access on Chestnut.  It repeats the hip roof, but has open rafters.  To the east is a covered concrete patio.
