415 Fourth Street
This Queen Anne frame
residence was one of the first built along that block and was built for John
Fischer. He organized and was
president of the Boonville Mercantile Company and was elected Cooper County
Court Judge, presiding Judge, and State Representative.
The residence has chamfered angles, an irregular roof line with gabled
dormers, and a second story recessed porch.
There is an oval stained glass window in the east.
The residence faces east onto 4th street with a concrete
driveway leading to a new attached garage.
To the west of the garage is a steeply pitched hip roofed outbuilding
with narrow clapboarding. A
concrete reinforcing wall extends along the alley to the north.
