423 East High Street

Built in 1950’s this vernacular-commercial building was used as a Standard Gas Station. The southeast part of the store is largely glass. The east appears to be restrooms. A Butler building which sets to the north of the station and has garage. The station was also accompanied by Wayland’s Carriage shop and a building that was used in the 1920’s as a Buick dealer. The building sets at the northwest corner of High and Main Streets.
