Mothers who breast-feed their infants and work outside the home can find support and answers to common issues they face by attending "Breast-feeding for Working Women". The class will address issues of women who are breast-feeding are faced with when it's time to return to work.  A panel of working women who have been able to continue breast-feeding will be featured.

In addition to general concerns about breast-feeding, some other topics that will be addressed include:

  • Getting the support from your employer and your spouse that is needed to continue breast-feeding

  • Information about why it benefits employers to provide support to employees who want to continue breast-feeding

  • Milk storage

  • Information that should be shared with baby-sitters

Working women whose babies are due soon, women who have just delivered, as well as women who are getting ready to return to work or have just returned to work outside the home can benefit from the class information.  The cost is $10.00.   To register or for more information, please call  573/882-6973.
