PURPOSE: To help every child get off to the best possible start in life
and reduce the stress and maximize the pleasure of parenting.
SERVICES RENDERED: Timely, practical information and guidance in fostering the child's language,
cognitive, social, and motor development. Periodic screening of the child's educational,
hearing and vision development. Private visits in the home by a parent educator.
Group meetings for parents with similarly aged children.
PERSONS SERVED: Home visits are offered to parents until their children reach school age.
Group meetings are usually appropriate for parents of children ages 0 - 5.
AREA SERVED: Every school district in Cooper County.
FEES: None
HOURS: Parents may enroll anytime. Home visits will be scheduled to suit working parent's schedule.
Group meetings are usually scheduled on week nights; some will be scheduled on Saturdays.
