PURPOSE: Care and treatment of juveniles coming within jurisdiction of Juvenile Court under Section 211.031 RSMO, 1993.

SERVICES RENDERED: Referrals to agencies and institutions which can provide proper care, treatment, and supervision. Adoption. Transfer of legal custody. Termination of parental rights. Supervision of juveniles under jurisdiction of court.

PERSONS SERVED: Children, under the age of 17 years, who are abused, neglected, runaways, beyond parental control, have committed an act which would be criminal violation if committed by an adult, or have demonstrated other behavior which is detrimental to their own welfare and/or the welfare of others.

AREA SERVED: Cooper and Pettis counties

FEES: None.

HOURS: Juvenile officer and deputies are on call 24 hours a day for emergencies. Normal office hours are: Boonville: 8:30 a.m. -5 P.M., Monday - Friday. Sedalia: 8 A.M. - 5 P.M., Monday - Friday.
